IKON Model 10092 provides interfacing capability to such diverse devicesas Versatec electrostatic plotter/printers, Imagen laser printers,Tektronix color copiers, and any Centronics-compatible device to any Sun386i.The 10092 utilizes all bi-polar DMA logic providing a device transferrate of up to 400 KB per second. It can use 8- or 16-bit DMA channels.Onboard diagnostic and device exercising is available by simply flippingan edge-mounted toggle switch. Test patterns sent to the device areresident in PROM and can be tailored to customer specifications.High-current drivers and onboard termination options allow "tuning" ofthe standard Centronics port for maximum performance with devices such asTektronix color copiers and Imagen laser printers. Tektronix "datastreaming" mode is also supported.Input signals are received with true Schmitt triggers and r/c integrationfor maximum noise rejection.A full hardware/software manual is provided with the board. A full one-year warranty is standard. Boards are available from shelf stock.
